YPS welcomes OPRL labelling change
During March 2024, OPRL changed the appropriate recycling advice label for PP, PE, and Mixed Polyolefin flexible plastics, all of which are widely used as packaging materials.
The changed advice reflects the changing recycling landscape in the UK, confirming to consumers that these materials are now more readily able to be recycled.

YPS named Best Distributor for Bolloré’s advanced shrink films
Yorkshire Packaging Systems (YPS) has been named by shrink film manufacturer Bolloré as their Best Performing Distributor of 2023! YPS has been the exclusive distributor for Bolloré films in the UK since 2001 and was also recognised as the Best Performing Distributor in 2021.

Compostable film first at Empack event
Compostable shrink film will be on show for the first time at this year's Empack show! Taking place on 21st & 22nd February, the new sustainable material will be seen wrapping sample products on YPS' stand - D50.
