Easy to use and durable

Our 'monoblock' L sealer and shrink tunnel combination wrapper is an extremely popular alternative to utilising separate machines. It’s incredibly easy to use and manoeuvre, its durable, robust and reliable and it offers excellent, consistent results on all shrink film specifications, especially polyolefin.

One of the key benefits of a combination unit – compared to a separate L sealer and shrink tunnel – is the smooth and constantly level transfer of packs from sealer to tunnel. As the packing table on the heat sealer is lowered or raised to accommodate different sized products, the shrink tunnel bed also raises and lowers to the same height for transfer purposes. This is vital to keep unstable packs such as collations or very tall packs upright, where product movement can be critical to the final pack presentation, by guaranteeing a neat, centrally located seal on every pack.

The combination unit does require an operator and as such provides complete flexibility compared to a fully automatic machine.

Keith Westwood, L.G. Harris

"After purchasing a semi-automatic machine from you I would like you to know how satisfied I am with the equipment. The machine has taken our production efficiency to another level."

unique features

With a low maintenance philosophy at the heart of their design, these L-sealers benefit from a number of easy to use features. An automatic sealing head is incorporated for fast sealing action at pre-programmed interval cycles or via the simple press of a button. A powered film feed effortlessly draws the film into the sealing area and a belt take-off automatically transfers the sealed packs into the shrink tunnel for an exertion-free operation. Meanwhile the machine's heavy-duty sealing frame ensures maximum seal strength time after time, whilst consistency in end pack presentation is achieved via regulated air flow coupled with precise temperature control.

The combination unit has become one of our most popular models for medium speed display packaging applications with a reputation for robustness and reliability. An exceptional aesthetic is always achieved using either polyolefin or polythene shrink film.
