We’ll be exhibiting at the PPMA Show at the NEC in September. The YPS team will be available at stand A62 to discuss both machinery and materials that help production operations achieve increased throughput, improved consistency and reduced materials use.
“We’re celebrating 50 years in business this year! Over those years, we’ve helped numerous manufacturers and contract packers to find the right packaging system for them,” explained YPS MD, Glyn Johnson.
“We’ll have shrink wrapping and automated bagging systems on show, as well as our display of materials. We offer a wide range of specialist materials, so our team can talk through all the options and explain how materials and equipment can work optimally together.”
What shrink wrapping machines will YPS have on display?
We supply shrink wrapping systems for display applications as well as transit wrapping options. Display applications deliver shelf-ready packs and are achieved by using L-sealer and side sealer shrink wrappers.
Demonstrating our display shrink wrapping capabilities, we’ll have an Automatic L-sealer and tunnel running on our PPMA 26 stand. This is a fast machine that can run without an operator, being either operator or conveyor-fed. Its simple HMI offers control over both the sealer and tunnel from the same point.
Will automated bagging equipment also be on show?
Yes! You’ll also be able to see the Max Pro 24 in action. This plug-and-play vertical bagging machine is the widest available on the market, able to accept two shoe boxes side by side.
The company’s automated bagging systems range includes both horizontal bagging machines and vertical bagging equipment, suitable for everything from small operations to those processing thousands of packs a day. What about packaging materials?
We’ll have a representative selection of our materials on display at the stand. With more than £6 million of materials in our UK warehouse, we have such a wide range available that we can only show a small number at an event like this!
Our range includes consumables for all of the equipment that we sell. Our shrink wrapping range features technically-advanced materials, particularly those suitable for food contact applications, amongst other uses. We stock pre-made bags and film rolls for bagging systems of all types and stretch wrapping consumables with a wide variety of stretch ratios.
