Semi Automatic Turntable
Our semi-automatic turntable model makes pallet wrapping a breeze for any load up to 2200mm high (although 2400mm, 2800mm and 3100mm wrap heights are also available).
Its tool-free drop-on film loading system makes it easy to use. Just deliver your pallet to the turntable using a forklift or pump truck, secure the film, select a pre-set program, activate the machine at the touch of a button and relax.
A low profile version with a stainless steel body and adjustable stretch film carriage is also available.

Forklift entry
For total manoeuvrability and precise positioning, the turntable plate has supported internal guides for forklift arms and entry points to the front and rear.
Turntable homing device
The turntable has an inbuilt homing feature meaning that after each wrapping cycle the plate will return to the exact position that it started in. This makes loading and unloading of pallets simple and consistent. Furthermore, the plate has a soft-start and soft-stop feature to maintain pallet stability.
Film attachment device
An optional extra, the film
attachment device allows users to
affix the stretch film to the turntable plate, without having to attach it to a corner of the wooden pallet for increased convenience.
Safety stop plate
This plate travels up and down with the film carriage and acts as a safety guard, detecting any obstructions in the line of motion and triggering an immediate stop. This protects operators from injury. The plate is yellow in colour for complete visibility at all times.
Choice of film carriage
A mechanical brake manually adjustable film carriage offers stretch capacity up to 200%. Alternatively, our fixed powered gear operates at a 250% pre-stretch as standard. Upgraded gears can be supplied to achieve up to 300% stretch. The film carriage mechanism delivers more yield from every roll of film.
Magic eye sensor
Detects the exact height of each pallet for accurate film application.

Choice of Film carriage
This stretch wrapping machine comes with a choice of film carriage device.
The FRD carriage has a manually adjustable mechanical brake for film tensioning and a brake engagement release device for easy film hooking to the pallet. Alternatively, the PGS carriage includes a powered fixed gear pre-stretch system (250%), with additional gear sets available (150%-200%-300%).
Both incorporate a quick loading system for easy film threading, 250% stretch and variable ‘lay on force’. Users can set the following adjustable parameters in each programme:
- Bottom wraps
- Top wraps
- Rotation speed
- Carriage speed variable up and down
- Full wrapping cycle (up and down)
- Single wrapping cycle (up only)
- Single wrapping cycle (down only)
- Manual option available
- Top sheet cycle
There is also a film banding facility, to allow extra wrap at any point on the pallet that needs strengthening.
