This creates huge pressure on their production systems at this time of year, when they need to achieve the highest throughput that they can.
The Solution – an additional Pratika L Sealer and tunnel
We’ve supplied these dairy specialists with a fully automatic Pratika L-sealer and double chamber tunnel, with a rolling conveyor.
The customer had sourced equipment from us in the past and had the confidence to get in touch again to discuss their new requirements. We’re also supplying compatible film from the wide range of food contact approved materials that we stock in our centrally located warehouse.
The Result – High throughput and a quality finished pack
The L-sealer and accompanying double chamber tunnel together deliver exceptional throughput.
The ability to save programmes for different products to the Pratika L-sealer shrink wrapper was particularly attractive for the manufacturer as it facilitates extremely quick changeovers between product runs.
The rolling belt conveyor ensures that no point on the wrapped pack remains constantly in contact with the conveyor. This eliminates potential marking on the pack, resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing finish.
As well as being breathable to suit these products, the supplied film delivers a high gloss, premium finish that reflects the customer’s quality brands on the shelf.
