‘ONE-IN-ONE-OUT’ DATA FOR FULL GDPR COMPLIANCE
With a retrieve-and-destroy system that only works with one piece of data at a time, our Flexo E-COM’s labelling system offers the utmost security, compliance, and accuracy.
This one-in-one-out process eliminates errors and ensures absolute reliability and security as well as 100% compliance with GDPR data laws. In addition, there’s no chance that a single removed, swapped, or missing parcel will result in a stream of incorrectly labelled parcels, as it could with other systems.
Instead, it works in a few simple steps:
- The Flexo E-com starts by feeding one product at a time into the shrink wrapper.
- There, the Vulcan print-and-apply system will scan and detect the individual product, retrieve the corresponding address record, and print one dedicated label.
- The shrink wrapper then bags the product and applies the printed label, before destroying the data.
- The system then waits for the next product before beginning again.
Expect a short payback on your capital investment and ultimately a far more consistent process for your products.
Perfect Fit Available
The Flexo ECOM is also available in a special ‘FIT’ model, where bag width is also customised.
Our standard Flexo E-COM adapts bag length to match your product, whereas the additional ‘FIT’ specification also adds bag width flexibility.
An integrated product recognition sensor understands the width of the pack and conforms the trimming response perfectly to match.
This allows your operation to handle a wide range of products of varying dimensions, all benefiting from a tailored bag size.
This adaptation ensures that only as much packaging material is used as is necessary for each individual pack, resulting in significant material savings and preventing empty voids within the pack.
