This latest line consists of a side feed sleeve sealer and shrink tunnel which is being used to provide a trayless 10 pack collation of milk wrapping at a speed of 15 complete packs per minute.
The wrapper is fed in a single lane format from B&M’s existing conveyor via a cross over section. The cartons of milk are then clamped to hold back line pressure and counted into the collation area where the pusher plate completes two push strokes to every seal cycle to produce a 2×5 format.
This machinery is manufactured at our Dewsbury site to a very exacting standard. Dairies provide one of the harshest environments possible for equipment and so all our shrink wrappers for this sector are supplied in full stainless steel, with low voltage water proof electrics.
B&M’s Managing Director, Anthony Brazier continued “Every shrink wrapper we have purchased from YPS has been incredibly reliable and the back up and service has been second to none, which is why we now have four YPS lines running in our factory”.
