Sage Software Choose Rochman Shrink Wrapper from YPS (Again)

When Sage Accounting, the UK market leader in accountancy software, needed to automate its old, manual shrink wrapping process it turned to YPS for help.

Sage used to shrink wrap individual customer orders together with a manual sleeve wrapper and polyethylene shrink film to provide a secure parcel for the distribution cycle. As business grew the need to automate this process became vital. YPS supplied a fully automatic Rochman inline sleeve wrapper and shrink tunnel to meet the needs of the growing software company.

This was the second order YPS had received from Sage. YPS had recently installed a fully automatic Rochman L sealer and shrink tunnel at Sage’s head office, which was used to shrink wrap their boxed accountancy products – at speeds of up to 20 packs per minute – to provide aesthetic appeal and tamper evidence.

“Because we were so pleased with the first automatic ‘L’ sealer and shrink tunnel machine and, crucially, the high level of ongoing support YPS provided with the inclusive service contract, it was an easy decision to buy Rochman again,” said Sage production manager Brian Waugh.
