Shrink Wrapping Solution for Minova Weldgrip Steel Mesh Panels

As part of its major expansion into new products, the Barnsley site of Minova Weldgrip turned to Yorkshire Packaging Services (YPS) for help.

Minova Weldgrip Ltd manufactures and supplies machinery, tools and equipment for ground stabilisation above and below ground. They supply services and equipment to companies and organisations throughout the world

Effective and Efficient Shrink Wrapping operation

This is a new product line for Minova Weldgrip. The finished wrapped steel mesh panels are used for concrete reinforcement. The shrink wrapping barrier means the products can be used without the need for additional shuttering or joinery work in concrete pouring and civil engineering projects. By installing this new bespoke shrink wrapping machine, Minova Weldgrip were able to start production within a few hours of our installation, leading to an effective and efficient operation. It was vital that the shrink wrapping machine installed, not only met the stringent safety levels required by the industry, but could also cope with the challenging production and quality demands required by Minova Weldgrip.
