Totally degradable in just 3 years, (compared to 300 years with traditional shrink films) Bolphane® BYO is not only good for the environment but offers outstanding results.
And, as sole UK distributors, YPS is now launching the eco-friendly Bolphane® BYO in this country.
High performance shrink film
As you would expect from Bollore, Bolphane® BYO is a fully biodegradable, polyolefin shrink film that offers all the benefits of a high performance shrink film, including:

The science behind this biodegradable shrink film
At the end of its useful life, Bolphane® BYO, biodegradable polyolefin shrink film disintegrates through the process of oxidation. The resulting components are then bio-assimilated further by soil micro-organisms.
In about 3 years, the shrink film is broken down into water, carbon dioxide and biomass.
When you consider that 1000’s of tonnes of polyolefin shrink film end up in landfill sites each year, Bolphane® BYO is seen as a major environmental breakthrough for the shrink film industry.
